How and what to get?
The nearest airport is Lisbon, 15.5 km away. From it to the beaches of Costa de Caparica in Portugal, you can drive in 5 ways. Let’s consider each of them.
- Bus No. 153 – runs along the Praça de Espanha-Alcântara-Costa da Caparica route. The ticket costs € 3.25 one way. Travel time is about 50 minutes. Coming to the final stop, you will need about 5 minutes to go south along the boulevard and transfer to the mini-train leaving every 30 minutes. The fare will cost 2.5-4.5 €. The route consists of 21 stations, each of them is located near the beaches (ordinary, nudist and gay);
- Bus No. 124 – departs from the main square, passes through Almada. The fare will cost 3.25 €;
- Bus number 161 – from Praça do Areeiro to Alcântara, departs every half hour. Ticket price – 4.10 €. Travel time is 37 minutes.
By train, passing through the river. Tagus, you can get to the train station Pragal. Then you need to transfer to bus number 196, which will take you directly to Kapariki. By avoiding traffic jams on the bridge that connects Lisbon to the opposite bank of the river, the train is a great alternative on holidays and weekends. Ticket price is 2.8 €.
